Our ecommerce platform, checkout and related online-store services are provided using Shopify.
These Terms apply when you visit our website, create a customer account, place an order or otherwise purchase products from Pure Drone.
These Terms should be read together with our:
- Return and Refund Policy
- Shipping Policy
- Privacy Policy
- Legal Notice
- Any product-specific terms
- Any promotion-specific conditions displayed before purchase
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
1. USING OUR WEBSITE
You may use this website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- Use the website fraudulently or unlawfully
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, accounts or systems
- Introduce viruses, malicious code or harmful material
- Deliberately interfere with the operation or security of the website
- Scrape or exploit website content for unauthorised commercial purposes
- Impersonate another person
- Provide deliberately false information
- Use the website in a way that infringes another person's legal rights
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, Pure Drone or our systems.
2. CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS AND GUEST CHECKOUT
Orders may be placed using guest checkout or an available Shopify customer account.
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information
- Keeping account access details secure
- Informing us promptly of suspected unauthorised account access
- Ensuring that anyone placing an order through your account has authority to do so
We may suspend or close an account where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, misuse or material breach of these Terms.
Closing or restricting an account does not remove rights or obligations relating to orders already placed.
3. BUSINESS IDENTITY
Products purchased through this website are supplied by Pure Drone Ltd trading as Pure Drone.
The registered office of Pure Drone Ltd is The Granary.
The business operates and dispatches customer orders from The Granary Workshop.
The fact that these are separate addresses is intentional and reflects their different business purposes.
4. PRODUCT INFORMATION
We aim to describe products accurately and provide useful technical information.
Product information may include:
- Dimensions
- Weight
- Voltage
- Current ratings
- KV ratings
- Connector types
- Firmware compatibility
- Mounting patterns
- Battery cell counts
- Recommended applications
- Manufacturer specifications
Some technical information is based on data supplied by manufacturers or suppliers.
Product images are intended to identify and illustrate the relevant product.
Packaging, labelling or minor non-material appearance details may occasionally change without affecting the essential identity or function of the product.
Nothing in this section permits Pure Drone to supply a materially different product from the product ordered without the customer's agreement.
Manufacturer specifications and product designs may change.
Where we become aware of a material specification change, we will take reasonable steps to update the listing.
If you require confirmation of a critical specification before ordering, contact:
support@puredrone.co.uk
5. THIRD-PARTY MANUFACTURERS AND BRANDS
Pure Drone sells products manufactured by third-party brands.
The use of manufacturer names, trademarks, logos and product names is for the purpose of identifying and describing the products offered for sale.
The appearance of a manufacturer's brand or product on this website does not by itself mean that Pure Drone is an authorised dealer, distributor, representative, partner, sponsor or endorsed retailer of that manufacturer.
Pure Drone will only describe a relationship as authorised, official, certified, approved, partnered or equivalent where there is a genuine basis for that statement.
6. TECHNICAL COMPATIBILITY
FPV, drone and electronic components often require careful compatibility checking.
Before purchasing or installing a product, customers should consider matters including:
- Voltage compatibility
- Current requirements
- Battery cell count
- Motor and propeller compatibility
- Connector type
- Connector polarity
- Mounting dimensions
- Firmware support
- Radio protocol
- Video-system compatibility
- Physical clearance
- Intended application
We will provide reasonable pre-sale assistance where requested.
Compatibility advice is based on information available to us and information provided by the customer.
Nothing in this section removes rights where a product is faulty, misdescribed or where a customer reasonably relied on incorrect information supplied by Pure Drone.
7. PRICES
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) unless clearly stated otherwise.
The product price displayed when an order is submitted is the selling price payable for that product, subject to any clearly disclosed promotion or discount and the correction of an obvious pricing error in accordance with these Terms.
Delivery charges and optional delivery services are displayed or explained before the customer submits the order.
Where a delivery charge depends on destination, order value, product type, parcel size, parcel weight or another relevant factor, the applicable charge or the information needed to determine that charge will be provided before the customer becomes committed to the purchase.
We will not impose an undisclosed mandatory product charge after an order has been submitted.
We may change prices for future orders at any time.
A price change will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted.
8. OBVIOUS PRICING ERRORS
Although we take reasonable care with pricing, an obvious pricing error may occasionally occur.
Where a price is clearly and objectively incorrect and the order has not yet been accepted, we may:
- Explain the error
- Offer the product at the correct price
- Allow you to cancel the affected item
- Decline or cancel the affected order before acceptance
We will not charge a higher price without your agreement.
Nothing in this section gives Pure Drone a right to cancel or alter an accepted order where applicable law does not permit us to do so.
Where an amount is due back to you, it will be refunded.
9. PLACING AN ORDER
To place an order, follow the checkout process and provide the requested information.
Before submitting the order, you will have an opportunity to review the items, quantities, delivery information and charges shown at checkout.
Submitting an order constitutes an offer by you to purchase the selected products.
10. ORDER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND CONTRACT FORMATION
After an order is placed, Shopify will normally send an electronic order confirmation or acknowledgement to the email address provided.
This confirms that the order has been received and records the details submitted.
Unless that communication expressly states that Pure Drone has accepted the order, an automatically generated order confirmation or acknowledgement does not by itself constitute acceptance.
A contract is formed when Pure Drone expressly accepts the order or dispatches the goods and sends or makes available confirmation of dispatch, whichever occurs first.
Nothing in this section limits statutory consumer rights.
11. ORDER ACCEPTANCE
Before an order has been accepted, we may decline it where reasonably necessary, including because:
- A product is unavailable
- A material product-description error has occurred
- An obvious pricing error has occurred
- Payment cannot be authorised
- Fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected
- Delivery is unavailable to the destination
- A product cannot lawfully or safely be transported to the destination
- The order exceeds a stated or reasonable quantity restriction
Where payment has already been taken for an order that is not accepted, the relevant amount will be refunded.
12. PAYMENT
Payments are processed through Shopify Checkout and the payment methods made available there.
You confirm that:
- You are authorised to use the selected payment method
- Payment information provided is correct
- Sufficient funds or credit are available
Pure Drone does not normally receive or store complete payment-card details.
An order may be delayed where payment is declined, reversed or requires additional verification.
13. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY AND STOCK
We aim to keep website stock information accurate.
Products identified as in stock and available for purchase are intended to be available for fulfilment.
Products labelled Coming Soon, unavailable or out of stock are not represented as being available for immediate dispatch.
A Coming Soon product will not be treated as an order for future supply unless the product is expressly offered as a pre-order or back order.
Stock discrepancies may occasionally occur because of:
- Simultaneous orders
- Inventory errors
- Damaged stock
- Supplier issues
- Technical faults
If an ordered product becomes unavailable, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
Depending on the circumstances, options may include:
- Waiting for the product to become available
- Selecting an alternative product
- Removing the unavailable item
- Cancelling the affected item
- Cancelling the affected order for a refund
We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
14. PRE-ORDERS, BACK ORDERS AND SPECIAL ORDERS
Where a product is sold as a pre-order, back order or special order, this will be identified before purchase.
An estimated availability, dispatch or delivery date may be provided.
Unless expressly stated as guaranteed, such dates are estimates.
Where a material delay occurs, we will provide reasonable information where available.
Consumer cancellation rights remain applicable except where a lawful exception applies.
15. UK DELIVERY AND COLLECTION OPTIONS
Pure Drone offers tracked UK delivery services and, where applicable, collection from participating events and test days.
Delivery options, charges, eligibility criteria and estimated delivery periods are explained in our Shipping Policy and displayed at checkout where applicable.
Current UK fulfilment options may include:
- Standard Tracked delivery
- Free Standard Delivery for qualifying orders
- Priority Tracked delivery
- Free Priority Tracked delivery for qualifying orders
- Saturday Guaranteed delivery where eligible
- Event and test-day collection
Event and test-day collection is a collection service and is not a home-delivery service.
The exact options available depend on the circumstances of the order.
The Shipping Policy contains the current charges and thresholds and should be treated as the primary source of information about delivery rates.
16. DISPATCH
Orders placed before 1:00pm on a working day will normally be dispatched the same working day.
Orders placed after 1:00pm, on weekends or on UK bank holidays will normally be dispatched on the next working day.
Most orders will be dispatched within 1–2 working days unless:
- A different lead time is shown
- The product is a pre-order, back order or special order
- Transport restrictions apply
- Another arrangement has been agreed
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless a particular service is expressly described as guaranteed.
17. EVENT AND TEST DAY COLLECTION
Pure Drone regularly attends FPV events and test days.
Where available, customers may select:
Free Event Collection Only at Pure Drone Stall
This option is intended for customers who will collect their order in person from the Pure Drone stall at a participating event or test day.
It is not a free home-delivery service.
Customers selecting this option are responsible for collecting the order at the relevant participating event or test day.
Where necessary, customers should confirm event collection availability with Pure Drone before ordering.
Additional details are contained in our Shipping Policy.
18. EUROPEAN UNION DELIVERY
Delivery to supported European Union destinations may be available for eligible products through EU Tracked Delivery.
Where EU delivery is available automatically, the applicable charge and estimated delivery time will be shown or explained before the order is submitted.
Not all products can be shipped to all European Union destinations.
Restrictions may apply because of:
- Lithium battery transport requirements
- Product classification
- Carrier restrictions
- Parcel weight or dimensions
- Destination-country requirements
- Customs procedures
Current EU delivery information is contained in our Shipping Policy.
19. OTHER INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
For destinations not currently supported through automatic checkout delivery rates, international delivery may be available by quotation.
Where an additional delivery charge is required:
- We will explain the proposed charge
- We will not dispatch until the charge has been agreed
- You may decline the quotation
- Where a quotation is declined, any relevant payment for an order that cannot be fulfilled will be refunded
Customers outside the United Kingdom may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, handling charges or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Pure Drone does not control those charges.
Customers are responsible for checking applicable import, ownership and use requirements in their destination country.
20. DELIVERY AND RISK
For consumer orders, Pure Drone remains responsible for the goods until they are delivered to:
- The customer; or
- A person identified by the customer as authorised to receive them
For Event or Test Day Collection orders, risk passes when the order is collected by the customer or their authorised representative.
Nothing in this section overrides rights provided by applicable consumer law.
21. CANCELLATION RIGHTS
Consumers purchasing online normally have the right to cancel eligible purchases without giving a reason.
The cancellation period normally ends 14 days after the day on which the consumer, or a person nominated by the consumer, receives the goods.
Exceptions may apply to certain products, including goods made to the customer's specification or clearly personalised products.
Full details of cancellation rights and the procedure for cancelling are contained in our Return and Refund Policy.
A model cancellation form is provided at the end of these Terms.
Use of the form is optional. A consumer may also make another clear statement that they wish to cancel, including by emailing support@puredrone.co.uk.
22. RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Our Return and Refund Policy explains:
- Change-of-mind cancellations
- Return deadlines
- Return postage
- Faulty goods
- Damaged goods
- Incorrect goods
- Misdescribed goods
- Electronics that have been installed or soldered
- Battery returns
- Special-order and personalised products
- Manufacturer warranties
- Refund processing
- Promotional products
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights relating to faulty, unsafe or misdescribed goods.
23. FAULTY GOODS
Goods supplied to consumers must meet applicable legal requirements.
Where applicable, goods must be:
- Of satisfactory quality
- Fit for purpose
- As described
Legal remedies may include rejection, repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
Manufacturer warranties are separate from statutory rights.
24. ELECTRONICS, INSTALLATION, SOLDERING AND CONFIGURATION
Many FPV and drone products require technical installation, soldering, configuration, firmware updates or specialist knowledge.
Before installation, customers should check:
- Product compatibility
- Voltage
- Current requirements
- Wiring
- Polarity
- Mounting
- Firmware
- Configuration requirements
Customers should follow manufacturer instructions and appropriate safety procedures.
Incorrect installation may damage equipment or create a risk of injury, fire or property damage.
Nothing in this section excludes liability for a product that was faulty, unsafe or misdescribed when supplied.
25. BATTERIES
Lithium-polymer and lithium-ion batteries require appropriate handling.
Customers should follow manufacturer safety information relating to:
- Charging
- Storage
- Transport
- Cell voltage
- Discharge
- Physical inspection
- Suitable charging arrangements
Do not charge or use a battery that is swollen, punctured, leaking, physically damaged or unusually hot.
Battery damage caused after supply by misuse, crashes, incorrect charging, over-discharge, short circuits, puncture, excessive heat, water exposure or inappropriate storage may not constitute a manufacturing fault.
This does not affect rights where the battery was faulty when supplied.
26. SAFE AND LAWFUL USE
Products purchased from Pure Drone must be used safely and lawfully.
Depending on the product and use, customers may be responsible for matters including:
- Aircraft registration
- Operator or flyer requirements
- Airspace restrictions
- Flight permissions
- Insurance
- Radio-frequency requirements
- Privacy obligations
- Local laws
- Safe operation and maintenance
Products must not be used for unlawful, malicious or deliberately dangerous purposes.
27. MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES
Some products may include a manufacturer warranty.
Where a warranty issue arises, contact Pure Drone first at:
support@puredrone.co.uk
We will assess the information provided and, where appropriate, assist with the manufacturer or supplier warranty process.
Assessment may require information including:
- Photographs
- Video
- Wiring information
- Configuration details
- Logs
- Proof of correct installation
- Return of the product
Manufacturer warranties are additional to, and do not replace, statutory consumer rights.
28. PROMOTIONS, FREE GIFTS AND DISCOUNTS
Pure Drone may offer:
- Discount codes
- Multi-buy promotions
- Product bundles
- Free gifts
- Promotional products
- Quantity-based promotions
Material qualifying conditions will be displayed with the promotion.
Conditions may include:
- Eligible products
- Required quantities
- Minimum spend
- Availability
- Valid dates
- Number of promotional items allowed per order
Where an offer states that a promotional item is free and the qualifying conditions are satisfied, no separate product charge will be made for that promotional item.
A free promotional item may still form part of the overall order and may need to be returned where the qualifying purchased items are returned, as explained in our Return and Refund Policy.
Unless stated otherwise:
- Discount codes have no cash value
- Codes cannot normally be applied retrospectively
- Selected products may be excluded
- Promotions may have expiry dates
- Promotions may be limited by available stock
We may correct an obvious technical or configuration error in a promotion before an order is accepted.
We will not normally remove a promotional benefit from an order that has already been accepted where the customer satisfied the stated promotional conditions.
29. REVIEWS AND USER CONTENT
If you submit a review, photograph, comment or other content, you confirm that:
- It reflects your genuine experience where presented as a review
- It is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- It does not infringe another person's rights
- It is not unlawful, abusive or deliberately misleading
- You have permission to submit any included content
We may moderate content where reasonably necessary for legal, security, privacy or relevance reasons.
Pure Drone will not knowingly publish or commission fake customer reviews.
30. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Website content created by Pure Drone, including branding, logos, original text, graphics, photographs, artwork and layouts, is owned by or licensed to Pure Drone Ltd unless stated otherwise.
Third-party manufacturer names, trademarks, logos, product photographs and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners or licensors.
You may use the website for personal use and legitimate purchasing purposes.
You must not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit Pure Drone's original content without permission where permission is legally required.
31. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The website may link to third-party websites, including:
- Manufacturers
- Social-media platforms
- Delivery providers
- Payment providers
- Technical resources
Pure Drone is not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party websites.
A link does not by itself indicate an authorised partnership, sponsorship or endorsement.
32. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and available.
We may temporarily suspend or change parts of the website for:
- Maintenance
- Security
- Technical updates
- Product changes
- Supplier changes
- Legal requirements
- Operational reasons
We do not guarantee uninterrupted website access.
This does not affect existing contractual obligations or statutory rights.
33. LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
This includes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Breach of statutory consumer rights
- Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded
For consumers, Pure Drone is responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
Nothing in this section affects mandatory consumer protections.
34. BUSINESS CUSTOMERS
Consumer rights described in these Terms apply where the purchaser is acting mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
Business purchases may be subject to different legal rights and obligations.
Any separate trade terms expressly agreed with a business customer will apply in addition to these Terms where relevant.
35. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control where the law permits, provided we take reasonable steps to minimise the effect.
Examples may include:
- Severe weather
- Carrier disruption
- Industrial action
- Fire
- Flooding
- Government restrictions
- Customs delays
- Major telecommunications failures
- Supplier disruption
- Cyber incidents
This does not remove consumer rights relating to delivery within an agreed or legally required period.
36. COMPLAINTS
If you are dissatisfied with a product, order or service, please contact:
support@puredrone.co.uk
Please provide your order number where applicable and enough information for us to understand the issue.
We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve complaints fairly.
37. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in:
- Law
- Business practices
- Products
- Services
- Technology
- Security
- Shopify functionality
The Terms applicable to an order are normally those in force when the order was placed.
Changes will not retrospectively remove statutory rights relating to an existing order.
38. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
39. WAIVER
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have permanently waived the right to enforce it.
40. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Consumers living elsewhere in the United Kingdom retain any mandatory protections available under the law applicable to them.
Consumers may bring proceedings in courts available to them under applicable consumer law.
